Speaking by playing

Let's improve our speaking skill by playing!!!

Today we are going to dedicate a few minutes of class to learning vocabulary in a fun way.

In groups of 4 children, the first player will say the first phrase I packed my backpack for school and took a .... cake. The second player repeats it and adds another item: 'I packed my backpack at school and took a cake and an orange.' The turns continue (repeating and adding articles) until someone makes a mistake or forgets a word and the subject has to be changed.

You can practice with different types of vocabulary. For example: go shopping (I went to the stores and bought...) animals (I went to the zoo and saw…)

We have other options to practice this skill,  for example English Speak Practice. Thi is an application that gives us options to practice oral skills with different real-life situations and different types of conversations to gain confidence and security when expressing ourselves in English.

With this application we will have access to hundreds of conversations from daily life that we can read, listen to and also try to reproduce ourselves, which will allow us to hear our pronunciation and be able to compare it and see what needs to be improved.
